Half Bath Reveal!
The best things come in small packages, or in home decor, the best things come in tiny rooms. Typically powder baths are the smallest space in a home, but they have the potential to pack the biggest punch. Small spaces are easier to take risks in, if that means wall paper or a bold paint color for you, this is the space to let your creativity run wild!
For our powder room there were two jumping off points, the vanity, and the wallpaper. I went with an Anna French for Thibaut wallpaper in the Watermark print from Simply Home Interiors (If you are local to Starkville, MS check them out. They have THE best wallpaper selection!) The vanity was a splurge for me if I’m being honest. I fell in love with the Sausalito 36” single vanity from Pottery Barn because of the soft cerused wood tone and the cane front. Both of these selections made for the perfect spot to host guests. Every time I go in there I take a deep breath and smile!
Lighting is the Jewelry for your room. I can’t stress the importance of this enough! It is a so personal. Just as your clothes reflect your personality, so should the lighting in your home. These white plaster sconces from Uncommon Living (Columbus, MS) might be the stars of this room. The ambiance they produce in this tiny but mighty space is perfection! The white plaster is a little unexpected, and adds even more interest!
I wanted some art for this room, but didn’t’ want to cover a significant amount of the wallpaper because I love it so much! These acrylic floating frames from amazon show off these urban garden pagoda prints beautifully (use my code: SRC30 for 30% off prints), and still let the wallpaper shine through.
I couldn’t be happier with how this space turned out, and I’m so excited to share it with you!
